Say2Go uses Deepgram Nova-3, one of the most accurate speech-to-text engines available. Real-world accuracy depends on your microphone, background noise, accent and how specialised your vocabulary is. It defaults to British English, and Android adds a regional accent selector.
Transcription needs an internet connection to reach our server. The connection is fast and encrypted, so in normal use you'll barely notice it. The app overlay itself runs locally.
