1. Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Say2Go (the "Software"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Software.

These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you ("you" or "User") and RoraLabs, a UK-registered sole trader ("RoraLabs", "we", "us", or "our"). Your continued use of Say2Go constitutes ongoing acceptance of the most current version of these Terms.

          Plain English summary: Using Say2Go means you accept these Terms.
          If you have questions, email us before using the software — we're happy to clarify anything.
        

2. Description of Service

Say2Go is a voice dictation desktop application available for Windows and macOS. It enables you to dictate text using your microphone and have that text typed into any application on your computer via a system-level hotkey.

Local operation — Say2Go runs as a local desktop application. Audio processing occurs on our dedicated servers; no audio is stored after transcription.
Platform support — Windows 10/11 (current release); macOS 12+ (coming soon).
Subscription model — Say2Go offers a free trial period followed by a paid subscription. Full details are in Section 4 below.
Service availability — We aim for high availability but do not guarantee 100% uptime. Scheduled maintenance and unforeseen outages may occur.

3. Free Trial

Say2Go includes a free trial that allows you to evaluate the software before purchasing a subscription.

Trial allowance — 1,000 words of dictation, total, across all sessions. There is no time limit on the trial; the 1,000-word allowance does not expire.
No credit card required — you can start the trial without providing any payment information.
Trial expiry — once you have used your 1,000 trial words, Say2Go will prompt you to subscribe to continue dictating.
One trial per user — the free trial is intended for individual evaluation. Creating multiple accounts or reinstalling the software to obtain additional trial words is a breach of these Terms.

4. Subscription & Payment

After your free trial ends, continued access to Say2Go requires an active paid subscription.

Monthly plan — £8.99 per month, billed monthly.
Annual plan — £74.99 per year, billed annually (equivalent to £6.25/month).
Auto-renewal — subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period. You will be charged the applicable rate unless you cancel before the renewal date.
Payment processing — all payments are processed by Paddle.com, who acts as our Merchant of Record. Paddle handles payment collection, VAT calculation, and applicable consumer tax compliance on our behalf. Your payment details are held by Paddle, not by RoraLabs.
Price changes — we may change our subscription prices with at least 30 days' notice to active subscribers by email. Continued use after a price change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the new price.
Cancellation — you may cancel your subscription at any time through the customer portal link provided by Paddle, or by contacting [email protected]. Upon cancellation, your access continues until the end of the current billing period. No partial-period refunds are issued on cancellation (see the Refund Policy below for your 14-day right).

5. Refund Policy

14-day money-back guarantee — If you are not satisfied with your Say2Go subscription, you may request a full refund within 14 days of your first payment. This right exists in addition to, and does not limit, any statutory rights you may have under UK consumer law.

To request a refund within the 14-day window, contact us at [email protected] with the email address associated with your account. We will process your refund promptly.

After 14 days — refunds are not issued for subscription fees paid more than 14 days ago, except where required by applicable law.
Renewal charges — if you forget to cancel before an auto-renewal and contact us within 7 days of the renewal charge, we will consider a refund on a case-by-case basis. We are not obligated to refund renewal charges but will try to be fair and reasonable.
Processing time — approved refunds are processed through Paddle and typically appear within 5–10 business days, depending on your payment method.

          UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013: As a digital service, your
          14-day statutory cancellation right under UK consumer law applies from the date of
          your first payment. By using Say2Go during the 14-day period, you acknowledge that
          you have requested immediate performance of the service. A refund remains available
          within this 14-day window if you are unsatisfied.
        

6. Acceptable Use

Your licence to use Say2Go is personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and limited to lawful purposes. You agree not to:

Reverse engineer — decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code of the Software.
Circumvent licence checks — modify, patch, or use any tool or method to bypass the Software's licence verification or trial word-count enforcement.
Resell or redistribute — sublicence, sell, rent, lease, or otherwise transfer the Software or your licence to any third party.
Use for unlawful purposes — use Say2Go to create, transmit, or store content that is illegal, harmful, or infringes the rights of others.
Abuse the service — use automated means to generate abnormally high volumes of dictation requests in a manner that degrades service for other users.

Breach of this section may result in immediate termination of your licence without refund. We reserve the right to report illegal activity to the relevant authorities.

7. Intellectual Property

Say2Go, including all software code, design, branding, logos, trade marks, and documentation, is owned by or licensed to RoraLabs. All rights not expressly granted to you under these Terms are reserved by RoraLabs.

Licence grant — subject to your compliance with these Terms and payment of any applicable fees, RoraLabs grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use Say2Go on devices you own or control.
Your content — the text you dictate using Say2Go is yours. We do not claim any ownership over dictated content. Audio is processed transiently and not stored.
Feedback — if you submit feedback or suggestions about Say2Go, you grant RoraLabs a royalty-free right to use that feedback to improve the Software, without obligation to you.

8. Termination

Termination by you — you may stop using Say2Go and cancel your subscription at any time. Your subscription access continues until the end of the current billing period; no partial-period refunds apply (see Section 5).
Termination by RoraLabs — we may suspend or terminate your licence immediately if you breach these Terms, particularly the Acceptable Use provisions in Section 6. Where possible, we will notify you by email before taking action.
Effect of termination — upon termination, your right to use the Software ceases. Any outstanding payment obligations remain due. Sections 7, 9, and 10 survive termination.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:

Say2Go is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
RoraLabs does not warrant that the Software will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that any defects will be corrected.
In no event shall RoraLabs be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Software.
Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim under or in connection with these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for Say2Go in the 12 months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

          Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal
          injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability
          that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable UK law, including consumer statutory rights.
        

10. Governing Law

These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them (including non-contractual disputes) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the law of England and Wales.

Subject to any mandatory consumer protection rights you may have in your country of residence, you agree that the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim arising under these Terms.

If you are a consumer in the European Union, you may also have the right to use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "last updated" date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will notify active subscribers by email at least 30 days before the changes take effect.

Continued use of Say2Go after updated Terms take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you may cancel your subscription before the effective date.
